Seniors gathered on the field to celebrate the start of what will be their most memorable year of high school.
What will be the ninth graduating class of Pebble Hills, the seniors made the most of their Saturday morning at school.
“Senior Sunrise was really fun hanging out with my friends early in the morning,” Zoe Herrera said. “We all painted our jeans and took cool pictures together. Overall it was nice seeing the sunrise to a new school year.”
Senior classmates use the time during Senior Sunrise to create stronger bonds with each other, as well as making memories that will last a lifetime.
“It was special for me because the environment felt like everyone, even people I didn’t know, was together and having fun,” Victoria Villarreal said. “The music, the games like nine square, my friends, and the sunrise was all very special and was such a memorable morning.”
Many students part of class of 2026 plan on making this year count by participating in school activities and pursuing personal goals.
“It’s the start of the school year, and I’m very excited to see what is yet to come and the opportunities this year with bring me,” Herrera said. “This year I would like to go to most of the school events, continue in the dance team, hopefully become a TDEA All-State dancer of the school, and make it into college. Most of all I want to explore things I haven’t done before to really live my senior year the the fullest.”
The seniors graduation ceremony will be Friday, June 5 at the Don Haskin’s Center at 11:00 a.m.
