Thalia Watters signed her letter of intent to play basketball with Arizona Christian University Nov. 28 in the cafeteria with friends and family present.

Watters is the second athlete to sign a letter of intent to play at the collegiate level and the first from the girl’s basketball program. Watters, who attended El Dorado 9th Grade Academy, returned this year from Washington and is a solid contributor to the varsity basketball team.
