The tennis team defeated El Dorado on October 10th with an overall score of 10-7.

Xavier Ballesteros returns the first serve to their opponent, El Dorado High School, while playing doubles with his partner Adrian Ortiz. The final score for their match was 6-4 and 6-0; giving Pebble Hills the first win of the morning.

“I felt happy and confident because I knew that it was going to be an easy win because we have that Spartan spirit,” Ballesteros said.

The team continues improving every day, which will make their spring season a better one. Head coach Gabriel Hayes takes over the team in his first year at Pebble Hills. Hayes takes on the program along with coach Monica Jacquez. This is their first year coaching tennis.

Tennis returns to action November 8th.
